 Server Support Enginer

Responsibilities:
    • Server Platform software operation & engineering  support for enterprise customers and partner services 
    • Triage , track, and analyze reported issues 
    • Provide solution to customers and partners in timely manner
    • Escalate to development team if required 
    • Release package management and delivery on time 
    • Daily communication with customers and partners as well as other teams in BoxTone
    • Continuously contribute to improvements in support processes and customer satisfaction 
Required Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of professional experience working in a fast paced environment is a must 
    • Advanced programming and debugging skills in Java, Linux, Network and database systems (eg., Oracle, Postgres SQL) are a must.
    • Strong scripting skills using Linux shell and Python is desired
    • Must be open to quickly learning additional tools, SDKs, libraries and programming languages as required to perform the job function
    • 3+ years experience in a customer support position is a must 
    • Strong technical reading and writing skills in English is a must
    • Strong oral technical communication skills in English is desired
    • Strong oral, reading and writing skills in Japanese is a must
    • Understanding of mobile phone industry and echo system is preferred
    • Experience working with network carriers is preferred
