Server Support Enginer
Responsibilities:
- Server Platform software operation & engineering support for enterprise customers and partner services
- Triage , track, and analyze reported issues
- Provide solution to customers and partners in timely manner
- Escalate to development team if required
- Release package management and delivery on time
- Daily communication with customers and partners as well as other teams in BoxTone
- Continuously contribute to improvements in support processes and customer satisfaction
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of professional experience working in a fast paced environment is a must
- Advanced programming and debugging skills in Java, Linux, Network and database systems (eg., Oracle, Postgres SQL) are a must.
- Strong scripting skills using Linux shell and Python is desired
- Must be open to quickly learning additional tools, SDKs, libraries and programming languages as required to perform the job function
- 3+ years experience in a customer support position is a must
- Strong technical reading and writing skills in English is a must
- Strong oral technical communication skills in English is desired
- Strong oral, reading and writing skills in Japanese is a must
- Understanding of mobile phone industry and echo system is preferred
- Experience working with network carriers is preferred
